Natalie Baca is a mosaic artist and mixed media painter, who loves to incorporate “found” objects into her pieces. After leading an exciting path in the fashion world in New York City and travelling the world with the marketing of new products, Natalie finally decided there was a need for a career change. She picked up some broken tiles and dishes and began a new career in the art world. With no formal training in art, she taught herself through experimenting and trial and error. Her love for texture, color, and patterns can be seen throughout her work.
Natalie was a featured artist on HGTV that aired in 2008. Her mosaic work has been featured in numerous publications including the “Mosaic Yearbook” and she has been featured on various art blogs and websites. One, in particular, was the website of Kathy Cano-Murillo, otherwise known as “The Crafty Chica” in 2009. Natalie has won several awards for her works and her art can be found hanging in homes and businesses alike.
